Themed Monthly Printable Calendars: English and Spanish

Hello!

Yesterday was our first day of school here in Western, NC. There was a hint of fall in the air and lots of excitement in our home! Our youngest is in Pre-K this year, and she is very eager to tell everyone all about it!

For Pre-K, I like to use Saxon Math K. It is a sweet introduction to math that uses lots of manipulatives: counting bears, pattern blocks, tangrams, dominoes, and household objects.

Each day’s lesson starts off with a Math Meeting that uses a Saxon Math Meeting Book. The bulk of the meeting book is just a blank calendar. At only 20ish pages long, it can be a bit pricey ($36???), so I decided to make my own calendar instead.

You can access these printable Themed Monthly Calendars in English and Spanish in my Teachers Pay Teachers store. The dates are blank so that you can reprint them each year.

We use these calendars in place of the Saxon Math Meeting Book for our daily calendar time to talk about days, weeks, months, years, numbers, counting how long until something happens, and past and upcoming events. We also like to draw pictures as a way to support growing literacy and remember what we have done.

Below you can see a (messy) example of how we used the calendar several years ago when our oldest was almost 4 years old.

I hope that these calendars can be helpful to you and your family!

Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom! Psalm 90:12

In Christ Alone, Trish
