I will read them on a shelf. And I will read them by myself. I will read them here or there, yes, I will read books anywhere! - poem/photo cred @rufatwcu
“Mommy, can I have some independent work too?” Maggie wants to be like her big sis 🥰
8 great years with this guy! We had a hitchhiker on our anniversary date 🤣🥳 @adshank2
And here’s another sweet one by Atinuke! If you already love Anna Hibiscus and her little brothers, you will love reading about when they were born. The illustrations and emotions of this book are so tender and real as it deals with some of the heartache older siblings feel as things change with the arrival of new littles in the family.
Loving everything by Nigerian author Atinuke right now! The two Anna Hibiscus books were read alouds in our Sonlight kindergarten curriculum. We were delighted to find out it is a series and that Atinuke has written picture books too! I love how the Anna books begin: “Anna Hibiscus is from Africa. Amazing Africa.” ❤️
Here are two sweet books for big transitions! If you are sending off your little one to Preschool or Kindergarten for the first time, The Kissing Hand is a sweet story to help them remember that Mommy loves them, even when they are away from home. Pocketful of Kisses is a a reminder that there is enough love to go around, even when a new sibling arrives.
