A Poem for Christmas

Jesus Christ is Lord of All,
Let every tongue proclaim:
The glory, majesty, and awe
Of His most Holy Name.

He came in grace and truth and love
That blessed Christmas day.
To loose the captives and declare
Full freedom for the slave.

For we were lost and blind and poor,
In bondage to decay.
But Jesus Christ, God’s only Son,
Came to defeat the grave.

Now He reigns forevermore
At God’s right hand above.
His mercies are made known to us
Because of His Great Love!
